Article Processing Charges (APC)
Article processing charge (APC) is paid only after the manuscript had been reviewed and accepted for publication (only for open-access article which is distributed under the terms of any of the Creative Commons licenses). APC covers the costs of the publishing process, including peer-review administration, copy editing, hosting the files, etc. APC varies for each journal and detailed information can be found on concrete journal's page.
The Publishing Company "Generate Digital Publishing" recognizes that authors' financial capacities in terms of APC vary. There are countries where governments, academic institutions, universities, and so on do not offer financing for authors to publish their research findings. That is why the Publishing Company uses a flexible APC system.
The Publishing Company offers a method of partial compensation for Article Processing Charges in order to improve publishing prospects for authors from low-income nations. Personal discounts are also available for some authors from these countries, according to the Publisher. In such instances, the author should submit a thoroughly justified request to the Publisher for both APC savings and free publication. Such an application is evaluated on an individual basis.
