Research Misconduct Policies

It is critical that all authors are named in the list of authors and in the cover letter form that is provided with a submitted manuscript. To be deemed the author, a person must be in charge of a certain research component or work preparation, or make a specific contribution to the concept, project, fulfillment, or research explanation, and this must be confirmed in the final work form. A minor contribution may not be deemed authorship. A person who gives a minor contribution, suitable data, or other form of assistance may be called a "contributor" by the author/co-authors and acknowledged in the paper's acknowledgement section. According to our policy, all authors/co-authors of submitted papers must complete the Cover letter form.

Duplicate Submission

Authors should submit manuscripts that have not been previously submitted to other journals-except in specific cases and with reviewer approval. When the same document is submitted to multiple journals or based on the same research, authors may ignore this rule. Duplicate submissions can be literal, partial, substantial, or even paraphrasing of research, such as plagiarism. Publishers have policies that prohibit publication of more than one article based on a single study. Authors may be rejected outright or sanctioned if they violate this policy.

Citation Manipulation

Manuscripts submitted containing citations with the primary purpose of increasing the number of citations to a particular author's work or to an article published in a particular journal will result in immediate rejection and possible penalties for the author.

Falscification of Information

If the falsified or fabricated data of experimental results (this also includes manipulation of images) will be found in the submitted paper, it will result in an immediate rejection along with possible sanctions against the authors.

Sanction

In case of violation of the above-mentioned policy, the following sanctions may occur:

  • Immediate rejection of the manuscript.
  • Any manuscript submitted to a journal published by the publishing company "Generate Digital Publishing" is rejected outright.
  • Publication embargo against all authors of the manuscript (prohibition for any new submissions to any journal published by publishing company "Generate Digital Publishing"). The term of the embargo may vary, but the minimum is 24 months.
  • Prohibition against all of the authors from serving on the Editorial Board of any journal published by publishing company "Generate Digital Publishing".
